QIAN Xuhong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was appointed the president of ECNU this morning.
Qian Xuhong was born in 1962 in Baoying, Jiangsu province. He is a professor of bioorganic chemistry and engineering. He has previously acted as the president of the East China University of Science and Technology for 11 years.
